In May of this year, the Owners Partnership Committee decided to pursue the Construction Manager at Risk project delivery method; a prequalification process was completed, followed by the issuance of a Request for Proposal to prequalified firms. The evaluation team’s decision was unanimous in selecting Yellowridge Construction Ltd., of Port Moody, B.C., for the position of Manager at Risk for the Upper Skeena Recreation Centre. The capabilities, capacity and past experiences of Yellowridge Construction, its Project Team designated to the Upper Skeena Recreation Centre, their experience in northern BC and overall enthusiasm highlight the firm as a clear choice and the best candidate to give the Upper Skeena region the facility that it needs.
